The Porsche 911 has long been the gold standard for sports car performance, and the 991 generation, produced from 2012 to 2019, elevated that legacy with a blend of modern technology and classic Stuttgart DNA. The 991.1 Carrera, in particular, was celebrated for its naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine, a powerplant revered for its linear power delivery and intoxicating soundtrack before the widespread adoption of turbocharging in later models. This generation also introduced a longer wheelbase and wider front track, improving stability and handling while retaining the iconic 911 silhouette. This 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera Black Edition is a prime example of the 991.1's enduring appeal. With 36,280 miles on the odometer, this coupe presents in the eponymous black finish, a color that perfectly accentuates the 911's timeless lines. The Black Edition package brought together a host of desirable features, including 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels, LED headlights, and a premium Bose Surround Sound System, along with special badging. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a quick-shifting 7-speed PDK double-clutch transmission, ensuring an engaging driving experience whether on a winding back road or a daily commute. For the enthusiast seeking a meticulously specified and naturally aspirated 911, this Black Edition offers a compelling package.
