The 911 R badge evokes a legendary chapter in Porsche's history, first appearing on a lightweight, race-focused 911 in 1967. Only 20 examples were built then, making them instant icons. Fast forward to 2016, and Porsche resurrected the R moniker for a special edition 991-generation 911, an homage to its ancestor and a defiant stand against the increasing digitalization of performance cars. Limited to just 991 units worldwide, the modern 911 R combined the GT3 RS's formidable 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six with a purist's six-speed manual gearbox, all wrapped in a more understated, wingless body. It was designed for the driver who prioritized engagement and mechanical purity above all else, quickly cementing its place as one of the most desirable and collectible Porsches of the modern era. This particular 2016 Porsche 911 R presents a truly exceptional opportunity to acquire a piece of automotive history. Finished in classic White with Black accents, this example has traveled a mere 2,491 miles from new, preserving its pristine condition. Under the rear decklid lies the magnificent 4.0L naturally aspirated H6 engine, delivering a visceral driving experience channeled exclusively through its precise manual transmission. This car embodies the very essence of Porsche's commitment to the driving enthusiast. For the discerning collector, this 911 R represents a rare chance to own a modern legend.
