The Maserati GranTurismo, unveiled in 2007, marked a significant return to form for the trident marque, blending grand touring comfort with genuine sports car performance. Penned by Pininfarina, its sensuous lines immediately established it as one of the most beautiful cars of its era, a true successor to iconic Maserati GTs like the A6 1500. The convertible variant, the GranCabrio (known as GranTurismo Convertible in North America), arrived a few years later, offering an open-air experience without compromising its elegant proportions or the glorious soundtrack of its Ferrari-derived V8. This first-generation model, produced for over a decade, became a modern classic, celebrated for its unique blend of Italian passion and everyday usability. This 2016 GranTurismo Sport Convertible embodies that philosophy perfectly, presenting a compelling package for the enthusiast seeking a sophisticated open-top experience. With just 28,395 miles on its odometer, this example remains in excellent condition, ready to deliver its intoxicating blend of performance and luxury. Under the hood lies the sonorous 4.7L naturally aspirated V8 engine, a masterpiece of Italian engineering that sings its way to a high redline, paired with a smooth automatic transmission that makes both spirited driving and relaxed cruising a joy. For those who appreciate the finer things in automotive life, this GranTurismo offers an opportunity to own a piece of modern Italian artistry.
