The Z06 nameplate, first introduced in 1963 as a special racing package for the C2 Corvette, has always signified the pinnacle of track-focused performance within the Corvette lineage. For the seventh-generation (C7) Corvette, the Z06 returned in 2015 with a singular mission: to deliver supercar-level performance at a fraction of the price. This iteration was particularly significant as it marked the first time a Z06 featured a supercharged engine, pushing its output to unprecedented levels and setting new benchmarks for American performance cars. Its aggressive aerodynamics, wider stance, and enhanced cooling systems underscored its serious track intentions, making it a formidable competitor on any circuit. This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, finished in a classic black, embodies that ethos perfectly. With 36,463 miles on the odometer, it stands ready to deliver its full, exhilarating potential. Under the hood lies the mighty 6.2L Supercharged V8, factory-rated at a robust 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Crucially, this example is equipped with the increasingly rare manual transmission, offering an immersive and engaging driving experience that connects the driver directly to the car's immense power. Further enhancing its auditory appeal and performance is an aftermarket Corsa exhaust system, providing a fitting soundtrack to the supercharged V8. This is a prime opportunity to acquire a potent, driver-focused American icon that truly lives up to its legendary Z06 designation.
