The C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 arrived in 2015 as a monumental leap forward for American performance. Eschewing the naturally aspirated Z06s of generations past, the C7 introduced forced induction in the form of the supercharged LT4 V8, a 6.2-liter powerhouse initially rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. This made it the most powerful production car in GM's history at its launch, capable of supercar-rivalling acceleration and track times, especially when equipped with the available Z07 package, which added Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and more aggressive aerodynamics. The Z06 represented the ultimate expression of Corvette performance, blending incredible straight-line speed with surprising agility for a car of its stature. This particular 2016 Corvette Z06 3LZ, finished in a striking color, has traveled 35,264 miles and elevates the already potent C7 platform to an entirely new level. With an impressive $39,000 invested in performance upgrades, this Z06 now boasts a formidable 800 horsepower from its 6.2L supercharged V8, channeled through its automatic transmission. The car also features carbon ceramic brakes, ensuring that its enhanced power is matched by equally impressive stopping capability. For the enthusiast seeking a Corvette Z06 that pushes beyond factory limits, this highly upgraded example presents a compelling proposition.
