When Chevrolet unleashed the C7 Corvette Z06, it wasn't just another performance variant; it was a shot across the bow of European supercars. Building on the already formidable Stingray platform, the Z06 brought back forced induction to the Corvette lineup for the first time since the C4 ZR-1. Its heart, the supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8, churned out a staggering 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production car in GM's history at its launch. This wasn't just a straight-line hero, though; with magnetic ride control, an electronic limited-slip differential, and available aerodynamic enhancements, the C7 Z06 was engineered to dominate road courses, proving its mettle against the world's best. This striking 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ, finished in a vibrant Torch Red, embodies that performance ethos. With 67,600 miles on the odometer, this example has been enjoyed as intended, offering a compelling blend of supercar performance and daily usability. Equipped with the top-tier 3LZ trim, it boasts a wealth of premium features, while the optional Z07 Performance Package elevates its track capabilities with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, adjustable aero, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup tires. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a quick-shifting automatic transmission, ensuring rapid acceleration and seamless gear changes. This is an opportunity to acquire a true American icon, ready to deliver exhilarating performance with every drive.
