The C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, introduced for the 2015 model year, marked a significant departure from its predecessors, bringing supercar-level performance and technology to a wider audience. Unlike the naturally aspirated Z06s of the C5 and C6 eras, the C7 Z06 was supercharged, unleashing a staggering 650 horsepower from its LT4 6.2-liter V8 engine. This made it not only the most powerful production Corvette to date but also a formidable competitor against European exotics. Its aggressive styling, wider body, and advanced aerodynamics, including optional carbon fiber aero packages, were all functional, designed to keep the car planted at extreme speeds, making it a track weapon that could still be enjoyed on the street. This particular 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, finished in a classic shade of black, embodies that ethos perfectly. With 48,000 miles on the odometer, this example has been enjoyed as intended, its potent 6.2L supercharged V8 engine paired with a responsive automatic transmission. The 2LZ trim level ensures a well-appointed interior, balancing its raw performance with creature comforts expected in a premium sports car. This Z06 represents an accessible entry into the world of truly high-performance American muscle, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
