The C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, introduced for the 2015 model year, marked a significant departure from its predecessors, bringing supercar-level performance to a more accessible price point. While earlier Z06s were known for their naturally aspirated prowess, the C7 embraced forced induction with the supercharged LT4 engine. This move was not without its detractors, but the sheer performance figures – 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque – spoke for themselves, making it the most powerful production car GM had ever built at the time. It was a technological tour de force, featuring an aluminum frame shared with the C7.R race car, advanced aerodynamics, and an available eight-speed automatic transmission that offered lightning-fast shifts, blurring the lines between track weapon and grand tourer. This stunning 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible presents an exceptional opportunity to experience that blend of raw power and open-air exhilaration. With a mere 20,400 miles on the odometer, this example has been lightly enjoyed, its powerful 6.2L supercharged V8 engine ready to deliver its full 650 horsepower through the seamless automatic transmission. The clean CARFAX report further underscores its well-maintained history, promising peace of mind for its next enthusiast owner. This Z06 Convertible is a chance to own a modern American icon, combining brutal performance with the joy of top-down driving.
