The C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, launched in 2014, marked a pivotal moment for America's sports car. After decades of evolution, the "Stingray" name returned, evoking the iconic C2 and C3 models, signaling a renewed commitment to performance and design. The C7 brought back exposed headlights, a first since 1962, and offered a thoroughly modern interior that finally matched its supercar-baiting performance. Underneath its aggressive lines lay a sophisticated aluminum chassis, a significant upgrade from its predecessors, ensuring a driving experience that could compete with the best in the world. This 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 coupe exemplifies the C7's ethos, boasting the highly desirable Z51 performance package. It features the formidable 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, and critically, it channels that power through a rare and engaging manual transmission, offering a direct connection that enthusiasts crave. With just 19,465 miles on the odometer, this example presents in excellent condition, ready for its next discerning owner to exploit its prodigious capabilities on winding roads or the open highway. For those who appreciate the dwindling art of the manual transmission paired with an American icon, this Corvette represents a compelling proposition.
