The BMW M4, introduced in 2014, marked a significant shift in the M performance lineage. For the first time, the iconic M3 sedan and coupe diverged, with the two-door variant adopting the M4 designation. This generation, internally known as the F82 for the coupe and F83 for the convertible, was also notable for embracing forced induction. Power came from the S55 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, replacing the naturally aspirated V8 of its E92 predecessor. Despite initial skepticism from some purists, the S55 proved to be a formidable powerplant, delivering immense torque and impressive performance that quickly silenced critics and cemented the M4's place as a modern M icon. This particular 2016 BMW M4 Convertible embodies the pure enthusiast's choice, featuring a highly desirable manual transmission that offers an engaging connection to its twin-turbocharged heart. With just 24,279 miles on the odometer, this example presents in excellent condition, ready to deliver exhilarating open-air performance. The convertible body style adds another dimension to the M4 experience, allowing occupants to fully immerse themselves in the sound and sensation of its powerful inline-six. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-preserved example of a modern M legend, offering a rare blend of performance, luxury, and driver involvement.
