The second-generation Vanquish, introduced in 2012, represented a masterful evolution of Aston Martin's grand touring philosophy. Succeeding the DBS, it proudly carried the torch of the brand's flagship V12, drawing aesthetic inspiration from the One-77 supercar while retaining its own distinct, muscular elegance. Built around a bonded aluminum VH architecture and featuring extensive use of carbon fiber for its body panels, the Vanquish was a statement of both luxury and performance. The Volante convertible variant, arriving in 2013, further amplified the sensory experience, allowing the glorious acoustics of its naturally aspirated V12 to fill the open air. This 2016 Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition Volante, with 14,037 miles on the odometer, embodies the pinnacle of this generation's design and engineering. The Carbon Edition package, offered in both coupe and Volante forms, accentuated the Vanquish's aggressive lines with unique carbon fiber exterior and interior trim, dark finishes, and a distinctive aesthetic that underscored its performance credentials. Power comes from the sonorous 5.9L V12 48V engine, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, delivering the kind of effortless thrust and evocative soundtrack only a large-displacement, naturally aspirated Aston Martin can provide. This Vanquish Carbon Edition Volante offers a rare chance to experience open-top grand touring with an unmistakable blend of British elegance and raw V12 power.
