The Porsche 911 Turbo has long stood as the pinnacle of everyday supercar performance, a testament to Porsche's relentless pursuit of speed and engineering excellence. Introduced in 1975, the original 930 Turbo was a homologation special that quickly became an icon, known for its distinctive "whale tail" spoiler and exhilarating, if sometimes challenging, power delivery. Over generations, the Turbo evolved, shedding its widow-maker reputation while gaining all-wheel drive and increasingly sophisticated electronics, transforming into a supremely capable all-weather machine. The 991 generation, launched in 2011, represented a significant leap forward, embracing a longer wheelbase, wider track, and a focus on enhanced driving dynamics and luxury. The 991 Turbo S, introduced shortly thereafter, elevated this further, packing more power, standard ceramic brakes, and active aerodynamics to cement its status as a technological tour de force capable of supercar-slaying performance with remarkable civility. This 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible is a prime example of the 991.1 generation's ultimate expression, blending blistering performance with open-air exhilaration. Under the rear decklid lies the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine, factory-rated at a robust 560 horsepower, channeled through Porsche's lightning-quick PDK automatic transmission to all four wheels. With 52,571 miles on the odometer, this gasoline-powered supercar has been enjoyed as intended, yet remains poised to deliver relentless acceleration and precision handling. Finished in a classic color combination, its convertible top ensures that every drive, whether a spirited backroad blast or a leisurely coastal cruise, is an immersive experience. This is an opportunity to acquire a highly capable and luxurious iteration of Porsche's legendary performance icon.
