The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2011, marked a significant evolution for the iconic sports car. While retaining the unmistakable silhouette, it was an entirely new platform, larger than its 997 predecessor, with a longer wheelbase and wider front track that enhanced stability and interior room. Porsche engineers masterfully balanced these changes, ensuring the 991 remained a driver's car at heart. The Carrera S variant, in particular, was lauded for its potent 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, delivering a thrilling 400 horsepower and a soundtrack that was pure Porsche. It quickly cemented its place as a benchmark for everyday usability combined with track-ready performance, further solidifying the 911's legendary status. This 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe exemplifies the robust engineering and enduring appeal of the 991 generation. With 126,833 miles on the odometer, its 3.8-liter gas H6 engine, paired with an automatic transmission, demonstrates the car's remarkable capability for both spirited driving and long-distance touring. The Carrera S offers a compelling blend of power and refinement, making it a truly versatile sports car designed to be driven and enjoyed. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-exercised example of a modern classic, ready for its next chapter on the open road.
