The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, introduced in 2011, marked a significant evolution for Stuttgart's most iconic model. Larger, lighter, and more technologically advanced than its 997 predecessor, the 991 brought a new level of sophistication and performance to the Carrera lineup. The Carrera 4S, in particular, offered a compelling blend of everyday usability and exhilarating capability, its wider bodywork hinting at the all-wheel-drive system lurking beneath, providing enhanced traction and stability. This generation saw the introduction of Porsche's advanced PDK dual-clutch transmission across much of the range, further solidifying the 911's reputation as a leader in both driver engagement and technological innovation. This particular 2015 Carrera 4S Convertible exemplifies the enduring appeal of the 991. With 54,148 miles on its 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, it represents a well-exercised example ready for its next chapter. The power is seamlessly delivered to all four wheels via Porsche's renowned automatic PDK transmission, ensuring both spirited acceleration and comfortable cruising. As a convertible, this 911 offers the added dimension of open-air motoring, allowing its next owner to fully immerse themselves in the visceral experience of Porsche performance. This 991 Carrera 4S Convertible stands as an enticing opportunity to acquire a versatile and engaging modern classic.
