The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, introduced in 2012, marked a significant evolution for the iconic sports car, maintaining its timeless silhouette while embracing modern engineering. Longer, wider, and lower than its 997 predecessor, the 991 featured a new platform and a more sophisticated chassis, offering enhanced performance and comfort. The Carrera 4 models, like this one, continued Porsche's tradition of all-wheel drive, providing superior traction and stability, especially in adverse conditions, without diluting the quintessential 911 driving experience. This generation also saw the introduction of electro-mechanical power steering, a highly debated but ultimately refined system that still delivered precise feedback. This 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Convertible exemplifies the 991's blend of performance and open-air exhilaration. With a mere 16,455 miles on its odometer, this example is powered by the naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine, producing 350 horsepower, paired with Porsche's renowned PDK automatic transmission. The Carrera 4’s all-wheel-drive system ensures confident handling, while the convertible top invites an immersive driving experience, allowing the engine's distinctive wail to fill the cabin. Its condition, reflecting its low mileage, suggests a well-preserved specimen ready for its next enthusiast owner. This is an exceptional chance to acquire a low-mileage 991 Carrera 4 Convertible, blending classic 911 appeal with modern performance and the allure of top-down motoring.
