The Porsche 911 has been the benchmark for sports cars for decades, and the 991 generation, produced from 2012 to 2019, represents a significant evolution in its storied lineage. While retaining the iconic silhouette, the 991 introduced a longer wheelbase, a wider front track, and a more rigid chassis, all contributing to enhanced driving dynamics and a more refined ride. The Carrera model, with its naturally aspirated flat-six engine, remained the heart of the lineup, celebrated for its linear power delivery and the unmistakable soundtrack that has defined the 911 for generations. This era also saw advancements in technology and luxury, making the 991 a sophisticated yet visceral driving machine. This 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera convertible embodies the quintessential 911 experience, offering the thrill of open-air motoring combined with the model's renowned performance. Power comes from the potent 3.4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, producing 350 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a responsive automatic transmission. With 51,058 miles on the odometer, this example has been enjoyed as intended, ready for its next chapter on the open road. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of the celebrated 991-generation 911 Carrera convertible.
