The Rolls-Royce Ghost, introduced in 2009, marked a significant shift for the venerable British marque. Conceived as a more driver-focused and contemporary alternative to the flagship Phantom, the Ghost aimed to attract a new generation of ultra-luxury buyers without compromising on the brand's legendary refinement. It was developed on a unique platform derived from the BMW F01 7 Series, sharing some underpinnings but heavily re-engineered to meet Rolls-Royce's exacting standards. Its name harks back to the original Silver Ghost, a car renowned for its quietness and engineering prowess, and the modern Ghost lived up to that legacy with its serene ride and effortless power delivery. The Series I, produced from 2009 to 2014, quickly became a cornerstone of the Rolls-Royce lineup, blending traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology. This 2014 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series I, finished in an elegant silver, exemplifies the model's understated grandeur. With a mere 24,554 miles on the odometer, it has been sparingly enjoyed, preserving its pristine condition. Under the long bonnet lies the heart of this magnificent machine: a potent 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering a prodigious 563 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. This immense power is channeled through a smooth 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, ensuring seamless acceleration and an imperceptible ride. Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary of opulence, featuring heated and ventilated front seats for ultimate comfort, complemented by the advanced Driver's Assistance 1 package, enhancing both safety and convenience. This Ghost represents an opportunity to acquire a prime example of modern Rolls-Royce luxury, offering a blend of performance, prestige, and unparalleled comfort.
