The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG arrived in 2010 as a spiritual successor to the legendary 300 SL, instantly recognizable by its dramatic gullwing doors and long hood that paid homage to its iconic ancestor. Developed entirely in-house by AMG, it was the first Mercedes-Benz designed from the ground up by the performance division. The SLS quickly became a modern classic, celebrated for its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter M159 V8 engine, which delivered intoxicating sound and relentless power. As the model run neared its end, AMG unleashed its most extreme iteration: the Black Series. Following in the footsteps of previous Black Series cars like the CLK63 and SL65, the SLS Black Series pushed the boundaries of performance, shedding weight, increasing power, and sharpening every dynamic aspect for track-focused exhilaration. Limited to just 350 units worldwide, the SLS AMG Black Series is a rare and formidable machine. Its M159 V8 was massaged to produce 622 horsepower, a significant bump over the standard car, achieved through revised valve timing, a higher redline, and a new intake system. This power was sent through a recalibrated AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission, offering lightning-fast shifts. Visually, the Black Series was unmistakable, featuring a wider track, carbon fiber aerodynamic elements including a large fixed rear wing, and a more aggressive stance, all contributing to its enhanced downforce and reduced curb weight. This particular 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is presented in pristine, delivery-mileage condition, making it an extraordinary find for the discerning collector. With virtually no miles on the odometer, it represents a unique opportunity to acquire a factory-fresh example of AMG's most hardcore gullwing.
