The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2011, represented a significant evolution for the iconic sports car. While retaining the classic silhouette, it was an entirely new platform, larger and more sophisticated than its 997 predecessor. Notably, the wheelbase grew by 100mm, improving stability and interior room, while extensive use of aluminum in the body shell contributed to a lighter curb weight despite the increased size. The Carrera 4 variant, introduced shortly after the standard Carrera, brought Porsche's renowned all-wheel-drive system into the mix, offering enhanced traction and confidence, particularly for those in diverse climates or seeking an extra layer of dynamic control. This 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Convertible exemplifies the 991's blend of performance and everyday usability. With 68,069 miles on the odometer, its 3.4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine produces a robust 350 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a responsive automatic transmission. As a convertible, it offers the added dimension of open-air motoring, perfect for enjoying the visceral sounds and sensations unique to a Porsche 911. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of the celebrated 991 generation Carrera 4 Convertible, ready for its next chapter of spirited driving.
