The sixth-generation Corvette, known internally as the C6, arrived in 2005 as a leaner, more refined evolution of America's sports car. Shorter and narrower than its C5 predecessor, the C6 brought back exposed headlights, a beloved feature absent since the C4. Under the hood, the standard LS2 V8 delivered a robust 400 horsepower, later upgraded to the mighty 6.2-liter LS3 producing 430 horsepower in 2008. The C6 era also saw the return of the Z06 and the introduction of the supercharged ZR1, cementing its place as a formidable performance machine capable of challenging European exotics. This 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible represents the final year of C6 production, benefiting from years of iterative improvements. Finished in a classic black with a matching black soft top, its aggressive lines are perfectly complemented by the factory alloy wheels. Under the hood lies the potent 6.2L LS3 V8, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, making it an ideal choice for spirited cruising or daily enjoyment. Having covered 83,579 miles, this Corvette has been enjoyed, but remains ready for its next chapter, complete with custom Lloyd's floor mats. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of a modern classic, offering open-air exhilaration and iconic American performance.
