The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, produced from 2004 to 2012, stands as a high watermark for many enthusiasts, blending modern performance with a more traditional, compact feel than its successors. Its design, a clear evolution of the iconic 911 silhouette, brought back the classic round headlights that many missed from the preceding 996. The Carrera 4S, in particular, offered a compelling package, combining the wider body of the Turbo with Porsche's advanced all-wheel-drive system, providing enhanced grip and stability without sacrificing the quintessential 911 driving experience. The "S" designation also brought a more potent engine and upgraded braking, making it a formidable performer on both road and track. This particular 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Convertible represents one of the final examples of the revered 997 generation, capturing the essence of its era. With 34,891 miles on the odometer, this convertible has been enjoyed but retains excellent condition, ready for its next chapter. The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, producing 385 horsepower, is paired with Porsche's renowned automatic transmission, offering a sublime blend of engaging performance and effortless cruising, especially with the top down. The all-wheel-drive system ensures confident handling in varying conditions, making this a versatile sports car for any season. This Carrera 4S Convertible offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire a beloved iteration of Porsche's most iconic model.
