The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG arrived in 2010 as a spiritual successor to the legendary 300 SL "Gullwing." Developed entirely in-house by AMG, it was a bold statement from Affalterbach, marking their first clean-sheet design rather than a tuned Mercedes platform. Its striking long-hood, short-deck proportions and iconic gullwing doors immediately cemented its place as a modern classic, while its hand-built, naturally aspirated M159 6.2-liter V8 engine delivered an intoxicating soundtrack and relentless power. This front-mid engine supercar was a true analog marvel in an increasingly digital world, lauded for its engaging driving dynamics and unmistakable presence. This 2012 SLS AMG Coupe continues that legacy, presenting in excellent condition with 51,707 miles on the odometer. The heart of this machine remains its formidable 6.2L V8, paired with a rapid-shifting automatic transmission, ensuring that the raw power is always at the driver's command. Every curve and line of its distinctive bodywork speaks to the meticulous craftsmanship and performance focus that defined AMG's halo car. For the enthusiast seeking a modern classic with genuine supercar pedigree and timeless appeal, this SLS AMG represents a compelling opportunity.
