The E90/E92/E93 generation M3 holds a unique place in BMW M history as the only M3 to feature a V8 engine. Born from BMW's desire to deliver a more potent performance machine, the S65B40 naturally aspirated V8 was a masterpiece, revving to an intoxicating 8,400 RPM and producing 414 horsepower. This departure from the inline-six lineage was significant, offering a broader torque band and a distinctly American muscle car-like soundtrack, yet retaining the razor-sharp handling and driver engagement synonymous with the M badge. The E93 convertible variant, with its retractable hardtop, added an extra dimension of open-air exhilaration, allowing occupants to fully immerse themselves in the V8's symphony. This 2012 BMW M3 Convertible, finished in a classic Black exterior over a matching Black interior, presents an opportunity to experience that rare V8 M3 magic. With 67,115 miles on the odometer, this E93 has been driven, but clearly enjoyed, and is ready for many more miles of spirited driving. The 4.0L Gas V8 engine is paired with an automatic transmission, offering a blend of daily usability and thrilling performance, whether carving canyons or cruising the coast with the top down. For those who appreciate the unique character of BMW's V8 M3, this E93 convertible offers an unparalleled blend of performance, luxury, and open-air enjoyment.
