The Grand Sport nameplate is steeped in Corvette legend, first appearing in 1963 as a lightweight, race-bred special designed to challenge the Shelby Cobras. Only five original Grand Sports were ever built, making them mythical figures in automotive history. The C6 generation saw the revival of the Grand Sport in 2010, bridging the gap between the standard Corvette and the ferocious Z06. It offered the Z06's wider body, aggressive styling, and enhanced suspension geometry, paired with the LS3 engine from the base C6, available with either a manual or automatic transmission – a combination never offered on the Z06. This made the C6 Grand Sport a highly desirable package, blending everyday usability with a significant dose of track-ready attitude and unmistakable curb appeal. This 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible exemplifies that potent blend, showing just 40,973 miles on its 6.2-liter V8 engine. Mated to a responsive 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, it offers both exhilarating performance and comfortable cruising, whether navigating city streets or carving through winding backroads. The convertible top invites open-air exhilaration, perfectly complementing the Grand Sport's aggressive stance and wide fenders. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a low-mileage example of a modern Corvette legend, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
