The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, produced from 2004 to 2012, is widely regarded as a modern classic, blending the analog feel of earlier models with contemporary performance and refinement. It marked a return to the oval headlights that defined the 911's iconic silhouette, moving away from the "fried egg" lights of its 996 predecessor. The Carrera variant, as the entry point to the 997 lineup, delivered a pure, unadulterated Porsche experience, powered by the naturally aspirated flat-six engine that has long been the heart of the 911 legend. This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera, a pristine example from the second phase of 997 production (997.2), embodies that coveted blend of tradition and modernity. With just 35,838 miles on its 3.6L gas H6 engine, it represents a well-preserved opportunity to own a meticulously engineered sports car. The presence of a manual transmission further elevates its appeal, offering an engaging driving experience that connects the driver directly to the car's celebrated dynamics. For the enthusiast seeking the quintessential 911 experience, this Carrera stands ready.
