The Aston Martin DBS holds a unique place in the marque's storied history, representing the pinnacle of its grand touring and sporting aspirations in the late 2000s. Introduced in 2007, the DBS was more than just a refreshed DB9; it was a lighter, more powerful, and overtly sporting machine that drew heavily from Aston Martin's DBR9 GT1 racing program. Famously gracing the silver screen in *Casino Royale* and *Quantum of Solace*, the DBS instantly became synonymous with sophisticated aggression and high-stakes adventure. Its production numbers were relatively low, solidifying its status as a more exclusive offering compared to its DB9 stablemate, and it marked the glorious continuation of Aston Martin's naturally aspirated V12 era before the widespread adoption of forced induction. This particular 2009 Aston Martin DBS stands as a prime example of this iconic generation, boasting a mere 30,683 miles on its odometer. Beneath its sleek coupe bodywork resides the magnificent 5.9L naturally aspirated V12 engine, a powerplant renowned for its intoxicating sound and linear power delivery. Crucially, this DBS is equipped with the highly sought-after 6-speed manual transmission, offering an unadulterated and engaging driving experience that connects the driver directly to its formidable capabilities. For the discerning enthusiast, this DBS represents a rare chance to acquire a modern classic from Aston Martin's golden age of analog performance.
