The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, produced from 2004 to 2012, is widely regarded as a sweet spot in the model's illustrious history. It marked a return to the classic round headlights after the controversial "fried egg" lamps of its 996 predecessor, blending modern performance with timeless aesthetics. The Carrera 4S, in particular, offered a compelling package, combining the wider body shell of the Turbo with the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, delivering 355 horsepower to all four wheels. This all-wheel-drive system not only enhanced traction and stability but also lent the 4S a distinct road presence, making it a favorite among enthusiasts seeking a blend of everyday usability and genuine sports car thrill. This 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet embodies that iconic era, presenting an opportunity to experience the 997's blend of performance and open-air enjoyment. Showing 96,243 miles on its odometer, this example features the robust 3.8L H6 engine paired with an automatic transmission, offering a smooth yet engaging driving experience. As a convertible, it allows for an immersive connection with the road and surroundings, enhancing every drive from spirited backroad runs to leisurely coastal cruises. This 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is ready for its next chapter with a discerning enthusiast.
