The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2004, marked a triumphant return to the classic round headlight design after the divisive "fried egg" lights of its 996 predecessor. Widely regarded as one of the most beloved modern 911s, the 997 blended traditional Porsche aesthetics with contemporary performance and comfort. The Carrera 4, introduced shortly after the rear-wheel-drive models, brought Porsche's renowned all-wheel-drive system to the platform, offering enhanced traction and stability, especially appealing to drivers in varied climates or those seeking an extra layer of confidence. This generation also saw the continued refinement of Porsche's flat-six engine, offering a compelling blend of everyday usability and thrilling performance. This particular 2007 Carrera 4 Convertible exemplifies the 997's enduring appeal. With 83,000 miles on its 3.6-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, this example is ready for its next chapter of open-air motoring. Mated to a precise manual transmission, it offers an engaging driving experience that connects the driver directly to the road, a hallmark of Porsche's engineering philosophy. The all-wheel-drive system ensures that its power is delivered effectively, whether carving canyons or cruising the coastline. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of a truly iconic modern classic, ready to deliver the quintessential Porsche experience.
