The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2004, marked a triumphant return to the classic round headlight design after the divisive "fried egg" lights of its 996 predecessor. Heralded by many as a modern classic, the 997 blended contemporary performance and technology with a distinctly traditional Porsche aesthetic. The Carrera 4 variant, introduced shortly after the base Carrera, offered the added confidence of Porsche's advanced all-wheel-drive system, distributing power seamlessly to all four wheels for enhanced grip and stability, especially in adverse conditions or during spirited driving. This generation also saw the continued refinement of Porsche's Tiptronic automatic transmission, providing a comfortable yet engaging driving experience. This 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 convertible embodies the enduring appeal of the 997 generation. Showing 55,647 miles, this example is powered by the robust 3.6-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, paired with the responsive Tiptronic automatic transmission, allowing for effortless cruising or dynamic backroad excursions. The convertible top invites open-air exhilaration, perfectly complementing the Carrera 4's blend of sure-footed handling and iconic styling. This is an opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of a beloved 911 generation, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
