The C6 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, launched in 2005, marked a significant evolution for America's sports car. Following the widely acclaimed C5, the C6 refined its predecessor's formula, bringing back exposed headlights after two generations and tightening the overall package with a shorter wheelbase and revised styling. Beneath the skin, it continued to build on the C5's hydroformed frame, delivering enhanced rigidity and a more sophisticated ride. The introduction of the LS2 V8 engine at launch provided a substantial bump in power, solidifying the Corvette's reputation as a world-beating performance bargain and setting the stage for even more potent variants to come. This 2007 Chevrolet Corvette convertible embodies the quintessential C6 experience, offering open-air exhilaration coupled with the robust performance enthusiasts expect. Finished in a crisp white exterior over a black interior, this two-seater presents a classic combination. Power comes from the potent 6.0L LS2 V8 engine, factory-rated at a healthy 400 horsepower, paired here with a smooth automatic transmission for effortless cruising or spirited driving. With 104,862 miles on the odometer, this rear-wheel-drive Corvette has been enjoyed as intended, ready for its next chapter on the open road. This is an enticing opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of the C6 Corvette convertible.
