The C6 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, produced from 2005 to 2013, represented a significant evolution in America's sports car. While sharing its C5 predecessor's hydroformed frame and wheelbase, the C6 brought a more refined exterior design, exposed headlamps returning after several generations, and a higher-quality interior. Crucially, it introduced the formidable LS2 engine, a 6.0-liter V8 delivering 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, instantly cementing its status as a performance bargain capable of sub-5-second 0-60 mph sprints. The C6 also saw the return of the Z06 and the ultimate ZR1, but even in its base form, it offered a compelling blend of speed, style, and everyday usability, making it a beloved choice for enthusiasts. This particular 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, with 95,350 miles on the odometer, presents an opportunity to experience the C6's open-air motoring. Powered by the robust 6.0L Gas V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, it promises effortless cruising and responsive performance. The seller notes no issues beyond a parking brake cable that requires replacement, indicating a well-maintained example otherwise. This C6 Convertible is ready for its next chapter on the open road.
