The 997 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2004, marked a triumphant return to classic 911 styling cues while advancing the model's performance and refinement. After the more polarizing "fried egg" headlights of its 996 predecessor, the 997 reintroduced the iconic round headlights that defined generations of Stuttgart's finest. Beneath the familiar silhouette, the 997 Carrera and Carrera S models offered significant upgrades, including more powerful engines and a thoroughly re-engineered chassis. For many enthusiasts, the 997 represents a sweet spot in the 911's lineage, blending modern capability with a more analog driving feel than subsequent generations. This 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet exemplifies the enduring appeal of the 997, pairing the exhilaration of open-air motoring with the added confidence of Porsche's all-wheel-drive system. Finished in its original Black paint over a matching black interior, this example presents in very good condition, showing 88,150 miles on the odometer. Power comes from the robust 3.6-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, delivering a responsive driving experience through its Tiptronic automatic transmission. This Carrera 4 Cabriolet offers a compelling opportunity to experience the iconic 997 generation, ready for its next chapter of spirited drives.
