The Aston Martin DB9 arrived in 2004 as a successor to the highly successful DB7, marking a significant evolution in the brand's design language and engineering. It was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's new Gaydon facility and utilized the VH (Vertical/Horizontal) platform, a modular architecture that would underpin many subsequent Aston Martins. Power came from a revised version of the 5.9-liter V12 engine, a powerplant celebrated for its sonorous exhaust note and prodigious torque delivery. The Volante convertible variant, introduced shortly after the coupé, offered the same blend of grand touring comfort and sporting prowess, but with the added exhilaration of open-top motoring. This 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante, with 40,779 miles on the odometer, presents in stunning condition, ready to deliver that quintessential Aston Martin experience. Its elegant convertible bodywork, finished in a sophisticated hue, perfectly complements the luxurious interior, making it ideal for both spirited drives and leisurely cruises. Under the bonnet lies the iconic 5.9-liter Gas V12, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, ensuring effortless performance and a captivating soundtrack. This DB9 Volante offers a compelling opportunity to acquire a modern classic from a marque synonymous with automotive excellence and timeless style.
