The C6-generation Chevrolet Corvette, introduced for the 2005 model year, marked a significant evolution for America’s sports car. Shorter than its C5 predecessor but with a longer wheelbase, it sharpened the Corvette’s handling dynamics while retaining its iconic grand touring capabilities. The C6 brought back exposed headlights after two generations of pop-ups, a nod to earlier Corvette designs, and was the first Corvette since 1962 to not offer pop-up headlights. Under the hood, the C6 debuted the new LS2 engine, a 6.0-liter V8 that produced a robust 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, solidifying its position as a performance bargain capable of 0-60 mph sprints in just over four seconds. This particular 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe exemplifies the pure, driver-focused experience that the C6 was designed to deliver. With just 44,448 miles on its 6.0-liter V8 engine, this example has been enjoyed but clearly well-maintained, ready for its next enthusiast owner. Power is sent to the rear wheels via the highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission, offering an engaging connection between driver and machine that automatic variants simply can't match. This C6 Corvette represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a low-mileage example of a modern classic, offering thrilling performance and timeless design.
