The C6 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, launched in 2005, marked a significant evolution for America's sports car. Shorter and narrower than its C5 predecessor, the C6 brought back exposed headlamps after two generations, a nod to classic Corvette styling while pushing performance boundaries. This generation introduced the formidable LS2 V8 engine, a 6.0-liter powerhouse delivering 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. The C6 also saw the return of the Z06 and the introduction of the even more extreme ZR1, solidifying its place as a world-class performance machine capable of challenging European exotics. This striking 2005 Chevrolet Corvette coupe encapsulates the C6's blend of modern performance and iconic design. With just 40,800 miles on the odometer, this example has been thoughtfully updated with drivetrain improvements, ensuring its 6.0L V8 and manual transmission are ready to deliver an exhilarating experience. The vibrant blue exterior presents beautifully, complementing the car's athletic stance and making it a standout on any road. Having been enjoyed for weekend drives by its current owner for the past year, this C6 Corvette offers an exciting opportunity to acquire a well-maintained and enhanced example of a celebrated American icon.
