The C5 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, produced from 1997 to 2004, marked a significant leap forward for America's sports car. Its hydroformed frame, rear-mounted transaxle, and all-new LS1 V8 engine delivered a level of refinement and performance previously unseen in a Corvette. The C5 also brought back the convertible bodystyle, offering open-air exhilaration alongside its impressive dynamics. While inherently a modern machine, its clean lines and accessible performance cemented its place as a contemporary classic, bridging the gap between traditional Corvette values and 21st-century engineering. This particular 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, showing 43,500 miles, presents a truly unique take on the C5 platform. It has been dramatically restyled with an all-carbon fiber body from Classic Reflection Coachworks (CRC), transforming its appearance into a retro-inspired homage to the iconic 1962 first-generation Corvette. Beneath this bespoke exterior lies the heart of a C5: a potent 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, paired with a smooth four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a retractable top, anti-lock disc brakes for confident stopping, and a premium Bose audio system. Originally sold new from Win Chevrolet in Long Beach, California, this Corvette offers a blend of modern performance with a distinctive, classic aesthetic. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a truly one-of-a-kind Corvette that stands apart from the crowd.
