The E46 M3 stands as a high-water mark in BMW's illustrious M car lineage, widely celebrated as one of the finest driving machines ever produced by the Bavarian marque. Launched in 2000, it followed the groundbreaking E36 and elevated the M3 formula with a potent new engine, the S54. This naturally aspirated 3.2-liter inline-six was a masterpiece of engineering, revving to 8,000 rpm and producing 333 horsepower, earning it multiple International Engine of the Year awards. The E46 M3 was praised for its near-perfect balance, telepathic steering, and engaging dynamics, making it a benchmark for performance coupes and convertibles of its era. This 2004 BMW M3 Convertible offers the quintessential E46 experience with the added thrill of open-air motoring. With 115,328 miles on the odometer, its 3.2L S54 I6 engine is paired with a purist's choice manual transmission, promising an immersive and connected driving experience. The convertible top allows for an unfiltered enjoyment of the S54's legendary exhaust note as you carve through backroads or cruise along the coast. For the enthusiast seeking a direct connection to one of BMW M's most revered creations, this E46 M3 Convertible presents an exceptional opportunity.
