The C4 generation Corvette, produced from 1984 to 1996, marked a significant departure from its predecessor, introducing a sleek, modern design and a focus on improved handling and performance. As the final iteration of this iconic generation, the 1996 model year brought with it the culmination of a decade of refinement, most notably with the introduction of the revered LT4 engine in manual transmission cars and the robust LT1 for automatics. The C4's impact was profound, solidifying the Corvette's status as America's sports car for a new era and setting the stage for future generations. This particular 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible presents a compelling opportunity to own a well-preserved example of the C4’s swansong. With just 54,291 miles on the odometer, this convertible is powered by the 5.7L LT1 V8 engine, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, making it an ideal cruiser. The classic red exterior is complemented by a crisp white convertible top, while the interior features dual power seats and a Bose sound system, enhancing the driving experience. This well-maintained C4 Corvette stands ready for its next enthusiast owner.
