The 993 generation of the Porsche 911 holds a special place in history as the last of the air-cooled 911s, marking the end of an era that began with the original in 1963. Introduced in late 1993 for the 1995 model year, the 993 was a significant redesign, with only 20% of its parts carried over from its 964 predecessor. Its wider, more aggressive stance and elegantly integrated bumpers brought the classic 911 silhouette into the modern age, while retaining the unmistakable character that enthusiasts cherished. Underneath, a sophisticated multi-link rear suspension drastically improved handling and ride comfort, solidifying its reputation as one of the most balanced and engaging 911s ever produced. This 1995 911 Carrera 2 Convertible embodies the quintessential 993 experience, offering the raw, unfiltered joy of the air-cooled flat-six with the exhilarating open-air freedom of a cabriolet. Power comes from the robust 3.6-liter naturally aspirated H6 engine, paired with a precise manual transmission that puts the driver in direct command. Showing 99,000 miles, this example has been driven and enjoyed, a testament to the enduring build quality and everyday usability of these iconic machines. This is a chance to acquire a piece of Porsche history, ready for its next chapter on the open road.
