The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2, produced from 1984 to 1989, represents a pivotal era for Stuttgart's most famous sports car. Following the SC, the 3.2 Carrera brought back the revered "Carrera" moniker and introduced a significantly revised 3.2-liter flat-six engine, boasting 207 horsepower for North American markets. This generation is widely celebrated for its blend of classic 911 aesthetics—including the iconic Fuchs wheels and narrow body—with improved drivability and reliability, making it a sweet spot for enthusiasts seeking the quintessential air-cooled experience before the advent of the heavier 964. The convertible variant, introduced mid-cycle, offered the thrilling open-air experience that perfectly complemented the engine's sonorous wail. This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible presents a charming example from the penultimate year of 3.2 production. Showing 110,686 miles on the odometer, its Off White exterior offers a subtle elegance that beautifully contrasts with a bright White interior, creating a timeless and distinctly period-correct aesthetic. The convertible top provides an immersive driving experience, allowing the full symphony of the air-cooled flat-six to permeate the cabin on every spirited drive. This Carrera 3.2 offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire a beloved air-cooled icon, ready to deliver miles of top-down driving pleasure.
