The Ferrari Testarossa, Italian for "red head," burst onto the scene in 1984, instantly becoming an icon of 1980s excess and automotive design. Succeeding the legendary 512 BBi, the Testarossa was designed by Pininfarina, most notably Leonardo Fioravanti, and its striking side strakes were not just for show; they channeled air to the side-mounted radiators, a departure from the central front radiator of its predecessor. Power came from a naturally aspirated 4.9-liter flat-12 engine, a development of the Colombo V12, producing 385 horsepower in US specification. With fewer than 7,200 examples produced during its initial run, the Testarossa cemented its place in popular culture, from its starring role in *Miami Vice* to countless bedroom posters, as a symbol of speed, style, and aspirational luxury. This 1986 Ferrari Testarossa presents a captivating opportunity to own a piece of that storied history. With just 24,553 miles on its odometer, this example has been driven sparingly, preserving its condition as a testament to its era. The iconic 4.9L Gas V12 engine, paired with a gated manual transmission, promises an unfiltered driving experience that is increasingly rare in modern supercars. For the discerning enthusiast, this Testarossa represents a chance to acquire a meticulously maintained example of one of Ferrari's most recognizable and beloved models.
