The C4 Corvette, launched in 1984, marked a radical departure from its C3 predecessor, ushering in a new era of performance and technology for Chevrolet's iconic sports car. Designed from the ground up, it featured a sleek, aerodynamic body, a revolutionary uniframe chassis for improved rigidity, and a sophisticated independent suspension system that finally brought the Corvette into the modern age of handling. While early C4s were praised for their sharp dynamics, the 1986 model year refined the package, most notably with the introduction of the Bosch ABS II anti-lock braking system as standard, a critical safety and performance enhancement. This generation also saw the return of the convertible, reaffirming the Corvette's dual identity as both a serious performance machine and an exhilarating cruiser. This stunning 1986 Chevrolet Corvette represents a remarkably preserved example of the early C4 lineage. With just 17,045 original miles on the odometer, this two-owner car has clearly led a pampered life, reportedly always garaged and never driven in the rain. Power comes from the robust 5.7L V8, paired with a desirable manual transmission, offering an engaging and authentic driving experience. Presented in an unmolested, totally stock configuration, it’s a true time capsule back to the mid-eighties, retaining its original character and factory specifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, well-cared-for C4 Corvette, ready to be enjoyed as a driver or elevated to show-ready status.
