The third generation of Chevrolet C/K trucks, affectionately known as the "Square Body," debuted in 1973 and quickly became an American icon. This generation represented a significant leap forward in design and comfort, offering a more refined driving experience than its predecessors while maintaining the rugged dependability expected of a Chevy truck. Produced for an impressive 18 years, the Square Body evolved through several iterations, with the early to mid-eighties models striking a perfect balance of classic aesthetics and usable features. While originally offered with a range of inline-six and V8 engines, their robust chassis and timeless styling have made them perennial favorites for customization and engine swaps, transforming them into everything from show trucks to high-performance street machines. This particular 1983 Chevrolet C-10 exemplifies the enduring appeal of the Square Body, presenting a striking custom build that has covered just 13,512 miles since its transformation. Beneath its classic lines now resides a potent 6.0L V8 engine, providing a significant upgrade in power and modern drivability compared to its factory configuration. The pristine condition and low mileage suggest a meticulous build and careful ownership, making this C-10 a compelling proposition for the enthusiast seeking a turnkey classic with contemporary performance. This C-10 offers the chance to own a meticulously crafted piece of American automotive history, ready to be driven and enjoyed.
