The third-generation Corvette, known as the C3, arrived in 1968 with a dramatic, Stingray-inspired "Coke bottle" design that would define American sports car aesthetics for a decade and a half. Evolving from its Mako Shark II concept car roots, the C3 became the longest-running Corvette generation, seeing numerous updates and refinements throughout its production. By 1980, the Corvette was a mature and well-honed grand tourer, offering a blend of distinctive style and comfortable performance that continued to captivate enthusiasts despite the changing automotive landscape of the era. This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette, finished in classic white, presents as a compelling project for the enthusiast eager to restore a piece of American automotive history. Showing 49,355 miles, this coupe is equipped with its original 350 cubic inch V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, offering a solid foundation for a sympathetic restoration. The unique inclusion of a parts car and a trailer with this listing provides an invaluable head start, ensuring many of the necessary components for a comprehensive refresh are already at hand. This is a unique chance to acquire a complete package for bringing a classic C3 Corvette back to its former glory.
