This was a project that I never wanted to sell. AI has wiped out my business. So let me tell you about it.<div>This would have been the 3rd Shelby Clone that I built. The donner car had been rusty, as all early mustang convertibles seem to be. The entire engine compartment is new, fitted together perfectly, rosette holes drilled and never welded. The doors are brand new, as are the hinges. The rear quarters are close, but still need to be fitted properly.</div><div><br></div><div>The fiberglass is a combination of the finest fiberglass available. The front is all Cobra Fiberglass from the East Coast that you can't buy most of any longer. One fender has a 1" crack and the hood has a corner that has just a little damage. This from shipping. Almost all of the steel replacement parts are high quality from Dynacorn. I replaced almost ALL of the sheet metal on this car. Everything is new and fitted. Radiator core support anll 4 panels plus the firewall in the engine compartment. both rear quarter panels and the wellwells are new. The A-Pillars are new and I have new "B" Pillars for the car. Still needs a floorboard, but the firwall was replaced first because the floorboard should be installed on top of the firewall kick panels. The steering colum is included. The trunk lid and the end caps are from Stang-Aholics. The taillight panel that isn't shown has the license plate on it, and a set of original Shelby Tailights and bezels on it. Thunderbird and Shelby are actually different from the standpoint of the blacl paint around the outside. The tail light Panel is from fiberglass specialties in Boulder City Nevada.<br><br>The reason The various fiberglass parts are from different venders, is that I've built 2 1969 Shelby clones before this one and know what is good and what is bad. I had bought the entire Stang-Aholics kit when I started this car, and ended up selling the entire front to a friend for half of what I paid for it. The tail light panel was so bad that the Lenses and bezels wouldn't drop into them. The frontend is Cobra Fiberglass and like the original Shelby, the inside edge that bolts down to the engine compartment has the metal skeleton between the fiberglass, so it fits like a glove!<br><br>The car is sitting on a Summit Racing Mustang Car Dolly that I bought new and had Powder Coated. I had the car bead blasted when I orginally bought it.<br>It comes with The front & Back Seats and the rear convertible side panels. Also the woodgrain dash and air conditioning lower dash.</div><div><br></div><div>It's a perfect project for a person that has a 1969-70 coupe that can be stripped for parts.<br><br>In 1969 there were only 531 original 1969 Shelby Convertibles made. That's what I love about building this particular clone. You go to a carshow and the likelyhood of seeing another is not likely.</div><div><br></div><div>The Car is registered to me and is on California non-op with no fees due.</div><div><br></div><div>This is sale is for the body, fiberglass and everything you see with the parts I mentioned.</div><div><br></div><div>No Drivetrain what-so-ever. The convertible top frame goes with the car obviously. The box of parts next to it, as you can plainly see is not for a Shelby. That belongs to my Daughter, Shelby's 1970 Mustang Comvertible.</div><div><br></div><div>The Black Car is the first 1969 Shelby Convertible clone I built. It was beautiful. I used maeir racing fiberglass on that one and do not recommend it. The son now ownes Maeir and they no longer make the kit.<br><br>If you have any questions, let me know. I'll be adding more pictures and if you want any pictures of areas that are not shown just let me know.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
