This 1967 Maserati Quattroporte was sold new to an owner in Rome, and in 1970 it was sent to Carrozzeria Grazia in Bologna, where it was converted into a firefighting vehicle for use by CEA Squadra Corse at Formula 1 racing events in Italy. The car remained with CEA for nearly a decade and spent time with a series of stewards in Italy and France.
