The C2 Chevrolet Corvette, produced from 1963 to 1967, stands as a high-water mark in American automotive design and performance. Born from the brilliance of Zora Arkus-Duntov and Bill Mitchell, the "Sting Ray" introduced independent rear suspension, a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette, and a level of sophistication previously unseen in American sports cars. The 1966 model year saw refinements to the iconic design, including an egg-crate grille insert, and continued to offer a compelling blend of raw power and stunning aesthetics, solidifying its place as a legend on both road and track. This particular 1966 Corvette Convertible presents a remarkable opportunity to own a meticulously preserved piece of that history. Showing a believed-original 52,527 miles, this example has been cherished and maintained with evident care. While the original listing doesn't specify the engine, the presence of a 4-speed manual transmission promises an engaging and authentic driving experience, connecting the driver directly to the mechanical symphony of this classic American icon. With its timeless convertible styling and documented low mileage, this Corvette is poised to deliver endless open-air motoring enjoyment to its next discerning owner.
