This 1966 BMW R27 was purchased by its current owner's sister, a New York City poet, in the late 1970s or early 1980s, and was ridden until its last year of registration in 1999. It was recommissioned in 2025 with work that included overhauling the fuel and electrical systems and replacing the battery.
