The Shelby Cobra. A name synonymous with raw power, American ingenuity, and a certain Texan's relentless pursuit of speed. Carroll Shelby's audacious vision to shoehorn a potent Ford V8 into a lightweight British AC Ace roadster created a legend that dominated racetracks and captured the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide. From its humble beginnings in the early 1960s, the Cobra quickly established itself as a giant-killer, famously taking on and beating Ferrari in their own backyard. While original production numbers were limited, its impact was immeasurable, solidifying its place as one of the most iconic sports cars ever conceived. The enduring appeal of the Cobra has led to a vibrant world of continuation and replica cars, allowing a new generation to experience its visceral thrill. This particular 1965 Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra, finished in a striking green, embodies that spirit with a faithful recreation of the original's muscular lines and aggressive stance. Showing 0 miles, this Cobra is a fresh canvas, ready for its next owner to imprint their driving style. While the engine and power specifications are yet to be detailed, the automatic transmission offers a unique and accessible take on the classic Cobra experience, promising exhilarating performance without the demands of a manual gearbox. This Backdraft Cobra arrives as a pristine example, poised to deliver the unfiltered driving excitement that only a Cobra can. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a brand-new interpretation of an automotive icon, ready for its maiden voyage.
