The Shelby Cobra is a legend etched into the very fabric of American automotive history, born from Carroll Shelby's audacious vision to shoehorn a potent Ford V8 into a lightweight AC Ace roadster. The result was a machine that rewrote the rules of performance, dominating racetracks and captivating enthusiasts with its raw power and visceral driving experience. While original 289 and 427 Cobras remain highly coveted and astronomically valued, the Superformance MKIII stands as one of the most respected and authentic recreations available, officially licensed by Shelby American. These vehicles are renowned for their meticulous attention to detail, robust construction, and faithful adherence to the Cobra's iconic design, offering a visceral experience that truly embodies the spirit of Shelby's masterpiece. This particular Superformance MKIII, a modern interpretation of the legendary 1965 model, presents an exceptional opportunity with a mere 182 miles on the odometer. Cloaked in a menacing black finish, it features truly unique maroon electroluminescent stripes that illuminate in the dark, ensuring this roadster makes a statement day or night. Power comes from a modern Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, delivering exhilarating performance through a precise manual transmission, a pairing that promises an unadulterated driving thrill. The exterior is further enhanced by 18-inch knock-off style aluminum wheels, a scooped hood, a driver-side stainless roll bar, and jet-coated steel side pipes that emit an intoxicating soundtrack. Inside, the cabin is a purposeful environment, featuring a black leather interior with bucket seating, a classic three-spoke wooden steering wheel, lap seat belts, and a full complement of AutoMeter gauges. This is a chance to acquire a virtually new, meticulously crafted Shelby Cobra recreation that perfectly blends vintage appeal with modern reliability and an unforgettable presence.
